The Great IDEAL Baking Show Closed
Familiar with a famous baking show from England? Well, this the Great IDEAL Baking Challenge. There will be three bakes. They are “Your Favorite Recipe,” “The Tricky Recipe, and “Your Big Wow Recipe.” Each bake will be evaluated, and no one goes away. Your best recipes will be shared on our social media and website.

We will examine how accidents and mistakes have led to great discoveries and have some of our own! For example: How soot and tar led to exploring the new world. How the glue that could lift a car led to sticky notes. How rot saved us. Find out how to turn your accidents into opportunities.

Make art projects like tessellations, fractals, origami, tiling, tangrams, crystal art, hexaflexagons, patterns in nature that have the Fibonacci sequence, and the golden ratio. It’s Science, Math, and Art: S-M-Art! June 17-21.

If you had $100,000.00 what would you do with it? Learn about how to invest money to make money through the stock market, real estate, and others. Have fun playing simulations and games, that teach those things. Then design your own money making game. Move over Monopoly, here we come!

The Force of Nature
What is more powerful than a jet plane, stronger than a mountain, and able to flatten whole towns in a day? Hurricanes, Blizzards, and Lighting, Oh My! What’s a job where you can be wrong about 90% of the time and still be appreciated? You guessed it. It’s meteorology!

Mock Trial
Choose a character from a book to put on trial. For example, did Goldilocks break and enter, destroy property, and vandalize? Create a trial with all the players, defendant, prosecution, judge, witnesses. Write your part of the scenario and let the audience be the jury. June 17-21.
Cool Conundrums Closed
Have fun figuring out lateral thinking puzzles, Math thinking puzzles, and not only inductive and deductive reasoning but also detect false logic. Find out what “non sequiturs,” “post hoc ergo propter hoc. Circular Reasoning and other misleading reasoning tricks. Be careful. Don’t assume anything. June 17-21.
Policy and Pricing:
Classes are for 1 week.
Cost: $190 per class + a non-refundable processing fee of 3.5%.
Classes are multi-age with activities individualized for student readiness.
Please use a separate form for each child.
Classes must have at least 3 students to run.
Parents will be advised at least 2 weeks before the class start date if the class has been canceled due to insufficient enrollment and a suitable alternative will be offered.
IDEAL4Gifted reserves the right to terminate a student’s attendance for behavior that is disruptive or harmful to the community, the student, or other students.
