Ms. Paula Barnes Cardinale – Director of Admissions, Accounts Manager, on-call Substitute Teacher
Paula Barnes Cardinale is an accomplished educator from North Carolina. A Robert E. & Hattie H. Bridges Honored Educator Scholar Award, she holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, an M.Ed. in Library Science, as well as Board Certification in Teaching Math.
She has worked with students of all ages, ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, teaching high school mathematics for nine years and middle school mathematics for twelve years while also covering science, social studies, and English Language Arts.
Ms. Paula has given presentations on gifted education topics at the local, state, and national levels; led various interdisciplinary initiatives; provided training to teachers; tutored students between 10-20 years old, as well as serving as a bookkeeper/accounts manager.
A detail-oriented individual who is highly organized and eager to be part of a collaborative, creative, dynamic program, Paula is engaged with IDEAL4Gifted by serving as Admissions Director and Accounts Manager, along with marketing activities and substitute teaching roles.
