Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Brigid has worked in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and the United States in administration, finance, IT, and project management. She has contributed to the Department of Health and The College of Law in London, where she gained experience in public health and legal education; she has worked in New Zealand where she gained experience in project management in the gaming industry and with local Councils.
An exemplary role model for her community, both professionally and personally, Brigid has a wealth of experience in many areas, from being the parent of three gifted children to serving as a Parent Support person and PTO president. Her current position at IDEAL4Gifted makes full use of her knowledge gained while living abroad. She is adept at understanding distinct cultures and making people feel comfortable with her presence. Her commitment to helping others speaks volumes about her character – Brigid truly embodies the IDEAL4Gifted spirit of giving back.
In her spare time, Brigid enjoys spending quality time cycling long distances, traveling, visiting family and friends, or just having fun with her kids.
