Our whole-child approach to the admissions process at IDEAL4Gifted seeks to determine if what we have to offer is likely to be a good fit for your child’s education. We have a few steps to help both the family and the program determine that.
You tell us about a variety of characteristics and interests of your child. We
meet with you and your child. We look at samples of their work and any other
information you’d like to share with us to help us understand who your child is
as a learner and a person. Then they visit us. If both sides think it’s likely to be a good fit then we go forward. We do not require an IQ test or a certain score.
It’s not about a number. It’s about a child.
Rolling admissions – You may begin the enrollment
process at any time and may join the program at the beginning of the first or
second semester and may be admitted during a semester.
No waiting list – We are never too full for students who
need us. If we have more students than our current staff can handle, then we
will hire more teachers.
