Welcome to our Community of Learning and Belonging
At IDEAL4Gifted we are dedicated to providing an enriched learning experience for students of all backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities who are academically advanced, gifted, or twice-exceptional. We strive to challenge students according to their readiness, strengths, and interests while fostering creativity and critical thinking. Our goal is equitable, engaging, and enjoyable education.
As a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, we are governed by a diverse board of directors, which ensures freedom from government interference in areas such as admissions, curriculum, and assessment, providing a secure and stable learning environment. We offer families a variety of curriculum packages, (full time, part time, and by the class) ensuring that every student’s learning journey is tailored to their individual needs.
Our Values:
Respect. We approach each situation with the intent to positively contribute toward a solution. We strive to understand and care for others by actively listening to their perspectives and recognizing their value.
Community. We foster a caring environment that promotes a sense of belonging. We create a diversity of engagement opportunities for students, faculty, and parents. Everyone has an opportunity for meaningful participation.
Courage. A courageous learner looks objectively at facts, holds opinions lightly, fails forward, and knows they can only change themselves. They view mistakes as opportunities for growth and keep moving forward despite any setbacks.
Quality. Students produce their highest standard of work, leading to growth and achievement. Teachers execute quality lesson plans to meet individual student needs while using ethical, evidence-based best practices as a guide.
Fun. We foster a high level of engagement both in and out of the classroom. We build a culture that celebrates everyone for who they are.
With this in mind, we affirm the right of every individual to learn, belong, and flourish working to create an environment where all voices are heard. We prioritize equity, diversity, and inclusion regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other dimensions associated with them. We believe that our mission and values can help create a more equitable and just educational landscape for all of our students. We will strive daily to empower our community by addressing these issues through collaboration and advocacy.
