About Our Guest: Marcie Booth is a dedicated Educational & Wellness Advocate and a Twice Exceptional (2E) Consultant, specializing in supporting gifted students with special needs. As an active member of both the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), Marcie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. She serves as an advocate and mentor for parents, guiding them through special education processes like IEPs, offering valuable resources, referrals, research, and organizing support groups and enrichment activities.
With a unique focus on both education and wellness, Marcie is also a Health Coach, offering services that include fitness coaching, swimming lessons, and exercise programs tailored to children and adults of all abilities. Her approach emphasizes the importance of exercise, nutrition, and understanding in both physical and cognitive development. Marcie passionately promotes the belief that “Exercise is medicine” and that “Lack of understanding is not a lack of intelligence,” aiming to empower families through holistic support.
